It’s Kayla and Dobbie’s wedding day! Doobie and Kayla live in San Luis Obispo but decided to take their friends and family to the North Shore of Oahu for a relaxing vacation and to tie the knot! I am excited to share with you their custom designed accordion-fold invitation inspired by marine scientific drawings–so cool! I am very thankful that Kayla chose me to design her invitations because  she had some great and creative ideas for her marine inspired but not “kitschy Hawaiian beach” invitation, they were so much fun to create for her! I think Kayla’s seafoam, gold, coral and cream color scheme works perfectly to show guests that this event will be a classy vintage occasion.  I love the accordion invitation format because it incorporates the engagement pictures plus have enough room for all the wedding details, and a tear-off RSVP postcard. Kayla wanted to include a detailed map of the North Shore of Oahu,  accommodations and a fun list of their favorite places to eat on Oahu.

I love their engagement shoot pictures by Mike Larson Photography,  they go so well with the invitation which I designed first then added their pictures once they had their photo shoot. I can’t wait to see the ones from the wedding! Congratulations Kayla and Doobie!
